President
H. Okan Utkueri joined Eureko Sigorta on 15th March 2006 as Executive Vice President. He was appointed President on 1st September 2006. He has a BS degree in Food Engineering from Middle East Technical University (1990), and an MA from the Institute of Banking and Insurance of Marmara University.
Coen van der Lubbe
Executive Vice President: Financial Departments
Coen van der Lubbe, (Den Haag, the Netherlands, 1962) has a B.A. degree of Business Economics of the Erasmus University (Rotterdam, the Netherlands) in 1988.
He started his career as an Auditor at Moret Ernst & Young in 1988. In 1993 he joined Rabobank International as Manager Derivatives Operations.
Thereafter he worked in Rabobank International as Senior Liaison Officer responsible for the Americas. In 2001 he was appointed as Deputy General Manager and Member of the Board of Rabo Robecobank Luxembourg S.A. (later Bank Sarasin Europe S.A.). This bank is mainly operating and Private Banking. At the same time, he was also Chairman of the Board of Rabo Corporate Services Luxembourg S.A. (trust)
In 2005 he has been involved with an M&A process in Turkey on behalf of Rabobank International in the role of Chief Financial and Risk Management Officer.
In 26 June 2007 he has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Board of our Company.
Jacques FRANÇOYS
Executive Vice President: Marketing, Corporate Communications and Project Management Department
Jacques Françoys, (the Netherlands, 1956) has an MBA degree at Delft University and abachelor degree of Law from Leiden University, and also NIMA Marketing degree.
He started his career in 1982 at Gist-brocades Nederland as Product Manager andthen held position of Marketing Manager. In 1988, he worked at Gist-brocades Lda /Yamanouchi Lda. in Portugal as General Manager. In 1993, he continued to work atYamanouchi Nederland B.V. as Managing Director; in 1998 he was transfered to theYamanouchi Europe B.V. as Marketing Europe Director.
In 2000, he worked at Amicon Health Insurance Company as Director Marketing andCorporate Accounts. In 2001, he started working at Sterpolis as Chairman ExecutiveBoard. In 2002, he appointed to Personal Insurances as Director at Interpolis InsurancesB.V. Afterwards he held the position of Communication and Brand Management Directorin the same company. Starting from 2008, Mr. FRANÇOYS was leading Director of LegalAid at Achmea and Interpolis.
In 03 May 2010 he has been appointed as Executive Vice President, responsible forMarketing, Corporate Communications and Project Management in our company.
Gönül Alpay
Executive Vice President: Bankassurance
S. Gönül Alpay has a BA degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Contemporary Business from Marmara University. She joined Eureko Sigorta as Executive Vice President in September 2006, having started her career at Garanti Bank in 1987. She was appointed as Executive Vice President of Eureko Sigorta in September 2006.
Mehmet Emin Alkan
Executive Vice President for Technical
Mehmet Emin Alkan has a BA degree in Economics from Middle Eastern Technical University. He joined Eureko Sigorta as Executive Vice President in October 2006, having joined Garanti Bank as an auditor in Internal Audit in 1989. Since then he has held several positions in Internal Audit and as a branch manager. He was appointed Head of the Audit Department in Garanti Bank after working as Manager at various branches.
Özlem Odar
Executive Vice President for Management Support
Özlem Odar has graduated from Ankara University Political Science Faculty, Management Department. She has started her career in Akbank as a System Development Specialist.
In 1990 she was appointed Organizational Specialist in Osmanlı Bank. Acting as System Development and Organization Manager Assistant in Impexbank between 1993-1995, IT Specialist in Iktisat Bank between 1995-1996, Manager of System Method Department in KoçBank between 1996- 1997, Manager of System Development Department in EGS Bank between 1997-2000 and Manager of Project Coordination in Garanti Teknoloji between 2000-2005. She joined Eureko Sigorta A.Ş. in November 2005 as Information Technologies Director and she was promoted to the Management Support Executive Vice President in January 2009.
İsmet Güngör
Executive Vice President: Agency/Broker/TCIP
İsmet Güngör graduated from Istanbul Technical University Maritime Faculty, and received his M.A degree in Finance and Insurance in USA. He started his career in 1986 in Cerrahgil Denizcilik, and in 1994 his career in insurance started in Ray Sigorta. Acting as Deputy General Manager for Marketing, Agencies, IT, Statistics, Business Development, and Regional Training and Coordination between 2000 and 2006, Mr. Güngör joined Eureko Sigorta on 15.01.2007 as Deputy General Manager for DASK and Agency&Broker Unit.
